You do not have to pull the engine to swap cam & lifters...You DO need to remove the front grill, radiator, accecories & brackets, intake manifold, distributor, rocker arms & push-rods to do this because the cam slides into the front of the engine. BTW---how old are you & what state are you in??...Just curious to see what type of chicks are into Mavericks...Our "other" Mav-chick is in Washington state...

: OOPs. My apologies to the original Chris. Most guys probably don't like being mistaken for girls. Back to my $400 bargain .... someone (maybe trying to impress me), said that I can do the cam lifters and bearings WITHOUT pulling the engine. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, how? I've discovered that the engine is a 302
