you are going to have to swap quite a few parts over to get that mustang right. the front coils and the struts all need to be swapped to v8 style plus you need to fing a driveline that will fit because i dont think a c-4 and a german 4 speed have the same spline or diameter either. the rearend might be the right width, i've never measured one out of a mustang. i think you might be ok in the wiring dept. as 1982 was before ford put in the really "good working" electronics and such. i also think the motor mounts and the tranny crossmember are different. i think your 4 cyl in the stang is a 2.3 instead of a 2.6
