All Car dealers used to be able to modify cars and still sell them as factory new. They could throw in big blocks, modified carbs or you name it. This was done mainly in California and the Mid West. Most often to Mopar cars. Probably because they had the fewest options and the biggest engine bays. Amyway, your search for a "Mod Mav" will be primarily a bust because the dealer mods would not have been on any buck tags or vins, if you get really lucky you will find a car with the original paperwork or dealer ad but that would be the only way to identify these dealer modifications.
