Unfortunately, you can't combine the "best, easiest, and cheapest" way to do the body work....so I will just go with the easiest for YOU. Buy some Bondo. Instruction are on the can. It spreads over the holes and fills them up, then just sand smooth. Now, by far, this ISN'T the best way to do it, but it is the easiest and cheapest way a novice can do bodywork. If you take your time, it can come out looking pretty decent. Now it won't last forever, but it does last long enough for you to either:
-Find another car in better shape.
-Learn how to to bodywork better
OR
-Pay to have it done.
I hope this helps.

: I just bought a '70 Maverick and it needs some bodywork done. To be brief....it's got rust holes on both door panels and the right rear quarter panel needs to be reshaped. What would be the best, quickest and/or cheapest way to do it myself?
: Poor "Goose" needs some TLC...I'll post in a pic or few when I get some... B.T.W., I'm female and I AM not a redhead! *LOL*
: Thanx!
