You need a 289/302 intake manifold for that...The heads are the same castings...The 351 block is wider which is why it has a different manifold...
Thanks to both of you. Remember though that I am putting the 351 heads on a 302 block! I would think that the width would be determined by the block, not the heads BUT I'm not sure. I'M also wondering about things like headers, rocker arms, pushrods etc. One question that I didn't think of in my earlier question was getting people's opinion on replacing the press in rocker studs with screw in studs and guideplates. I'm going with a relatively mild cam for now, probably something like the Comp Cams 280 and have built the bottom end capable of turning some fairly high revs. AND
