How did the headers fit with the wider, taller 351W motor? Were there any mods to the shock towers or suspension needed?
Ah now there is the one thing that I forgot to write. The shock towers were removed due to rust a few years back and Mustang II Inner Frame Supports (IFS) were weilded in place. Can't tell you about the exhaust but I think that with the headers for the 64.5 - 66 Mustang, (they are short and really hug the engine but drain some of the horses)the shock towers would have been OK.
BTW He had a Cleveland in the car with headers but he pulled that and put it back in the car it came from. That is why the towers really went instead of getting repaired.
