351w headers fit fine, no mods. You need Hedman Hedders for a 351 (swapped into a) 64 mustang. As long as you don't have any problems fouling plugs for example, you don't want to have to change them any more than you have too.
: How did the headers fit with the wider, taller 351W motor? Were there any mods to the shock towers or suspension needed? Are those 351W swap headers? I'll bet that Maverick will really move with the 351! Has he had the car to the dragstrip yet? I am also in the process of building a Maverick for street/strip, and this is exactly what I wanted to use as a motor, but knowing how tight the engine bay is in these cars, I did not know if it would fit. Also, I didn't know anyone had headers for this swap. Are they 302 headers with 1 5/8" primary tubes? Yes, I am very interested in the particulars of this swap. Your response would be greatly appreciated.
