First off... where are you hailing from?
Second, Are you willing to trapse around the local "shopping malls"? It is often cheaper to get replacement body parts from yards then have them hammered out... ( I am waiting to get help towing my "doner Mave home"... If I needed fenders I would have them right here! *sigh*) BUT sometimes you can get good deals (picked up the rear deck, front valance rear bumper for all of $50 combined at one point)...
It also pays to shop around... and go to the shop prepared... when I took Alice down to Earl schibe I brought in the body parts and as I got a quote to have them installed by someone else they added it into the job... I filled in the small holes (Alice doesn't have the LDO so I removed the trim myself and filled them in) total cost: $350... (you bet I haggled! BUT I also gave them some time leaway... a week as apposed to three days...ect)
WARNING! If you do go to such a place, cover ANYTHING you don't want painted, Alice now has "victory red" turn signals (which I didn't find out about till later) and a freind of mine has the same problem only in Blue....
