I have a c4 un a maverick with nothing more than a b&m shift kit, the one in the sleeve,set on street &strip mode that is handling 375-400 hp. It also has a deep pan and i run b&m trick shift. I also have a friend that has one behind a 351 clevland that has stood many years abuse.There are some 4 pinion plantarys you can install, they were mostly in half ton pickups with c4s. but i have never had any problems with the 3 pinion,good luck and let us know how it turns out.: What is the most hp a semi stock C4 (with a transpak shift kit and a b&m super cooler w/ 24,000GWV) can handle???
