: I know that we have all done it, but with fewer and fewer Mavericks out there it is getting harder and harder to find parts.

: I found a '71 Grabber in the junkyard in Hayward, CA today. Unfortunately, the hood and spoiler were gone. What pisses me off is the fact that some bone head was in too much of a rush to get the few parts of that he wanted. In stead of unplugging wires he/she cut them all. To get to the inside vent, it was easier to break the parcel shelf off rather than unbolt it. What really sucked was the Mav had a good black Grabber grill with sport lamps. To get the hood latch off it was much easier for the inconsiderate SOB to break the grill.

: There arn't too many of these cars around any more. I remember passing by Grabbers in the junkyard. How I wish I would have bought them now.

: Next time you are at the junkyard, have some consideration for the next guy who may need some parts. What comes around goes around.

I agree, seen it way too many times! But I guess that's why they call it a wrecking yard!
BTW if You went to this yard VIA the San Mateo Bridge You were less then 1/2 mile from my house on the Foster City side,We could have had a Mini Meet,it seems like the California Maverick owners just don't want to meet up, I'v tryed too many times,I give up.
