This may sound really stupid but the people in the yards seem to perfer to have them called Salvage yards instead of junk yards, at least they do around here. People are more usually more giving when you don't say they work in junk. Only reason I posted this is because some scrounge guy yelled at me because I called his yard a junkyard instead of a salvage yard.
