In HotRod, a few months ago (has an brown Nova on the front, and some "nerd" in front of it, as i recall), they ran an article on how to put subframe connectors into your car for $5. (YES, $5!). It was illustrated, etc. They put them in a montego (the article was "Project Monte1go"--i remember now).
Anyways, in case you can't get that, all you need to do is get an air compressor, cutting disks, a welder, and (the five dollar part) some 2" by 4" hollow rectangular tubes from your local do-it-yourself store. Just cut the tubes to length, and cut whatever you need to cut out of the floor of the car in between the sub-frames. Just weld the tubes onto the ends of the subframes (if you lift up the rug you can see marks where it's already welded).

I know i did a crappy job of transcribing it, so i can scan those articles if you want them....

Just email me...i'll put my work address down...(i work from 7-4)
