: : Hey all I got my 4 leafs and new shackles from JCWhitney last week and installed them this past week end. 1st they are great! 2nd they raised the ass 1.5". 3rd I can see ALL the traific out the back window now. 4th the car really handles much better now(no swinging in the wind) 5th I recomend this upgrade to everyone, 30+ year old springs need to be replace. 6th it was very easy to do. best steps, unbolt axle from spring, unbolt front bolt, then unbolt shackle, then reverse puting it back on, this seemed to be the easiest way to do it. Everything came right off and went right back on.
: : Cool stuff, I weighed my 72 Grabber w/302, auto, all origonal steel, spare tire and full tank of gas. Total 3140Lbs. Just in case anyone wanted to know how much they weigh.
