Well Gals & Guys, i've come to a fork in the preverbial road...
I need to sell both of my Mavs. My Father passed away recently and the family & I need to move. My parents home is in Wisconsin and that is where we are headed. To try to complete my Mothers dream of the "house on the lake". Anyways, the Mavs are not in the cards as far as space needed to store them... Etc. Etc.
I've posted before about selling one of them, but now i'll give a shot at selling them both together.
They are both 1971- 2 doors.
One is a 302 with 54,000 original miles with a freshly rebulit trans.
The body is not in the best of shape but it is straight and solid just rusty in the notorious places. (fenders & rear quarters) The interior is perfect.(black) with the exception of the drivers side arm-rest.
The other is a 3-on-the-tree 200 with 32,000 original miles.
Unrestored the only things I replaced were tires, brakes, shocks, and batery cables, as well as a tune-up. It's in over-all perfect shape. I've been to a few shows with it and have recevied nothing but complements on it. There is a few minor scratches on it that I left to prove it's truly an original. The couple that I purchased it from were in there mid-80's so these little dings are expected I guess.
I have copies of the original titles for both of the cars, (I bought them both from their original owners) as well as STACKS of recripts for both of them for all of the regular maintence to the new raidiator and trans for the 302.
I was asking $3,200 for the 200 ci, So I guess i'll ask $4,000 for both of them together.
P.S. I was using the 302 as a daily driver for the past year, so I know that it is dependable and driveable to most anywhere.
If you guys & gals can maybe point me in the right direction as far as a possible buyer for the pair that would be great...
Thanks in advance, Jay.....
