This is going to be a street/strip car, so for now I'm just going to eliminate the power steering pump, ram & all the lines. I've had different opinions on the steering box itself. I always thought that all Fords use a manual box, then add the hyd. ram for power assist. It's not a true power steering setup, more like a power-assist setup. Eventually I'm going to replace the power center link with a manual one since the power center link houses the hyd. actuator. For now, the thing steers fine, as long as the car's rolling. Thanks.
