I sold Mary yesterday, as well as a shitload of extra parts to her to one of the local mav nuts, he made out like a bandit, for $100 he picked up a burned to a crisp 71 Grabber with a damn good motor, tranny, rear end and a whole buncha extra body parts as well as extra heads, disc brakes , 4 sets of windsheild wipers, extra doors, a damn fine perfectly straight grabber hood, (minus inserts, they melted out)and about 6 rims of assorted types.
I'm sad to see her gone, I spent 4 years and nearly $3k on that restoration and was so close to completion .....
I might be picking up another mav for a daily driver here in the near future, found one thats been tagged in the back pretty hard for $300, it runs good, has a 302, looks like shit, but that can be cured, even tho I'm down, I'm a maverick man to the core and I aint out, not yet at least
