: Which do you prefer??...

: : Last night while at NAPA,I was tightening the muffler inlet around the pipe and just as I thought every thing had been done right I attempted to drive home but was delayed due to a grinding noise. When I got home I checked under the car and there was a silver scarring due to the driveshaft rubbing against the exhaust pipe. What started out to be a muffler problem lead to this.I had a similar problem 1 week ago on my Ford F-150.The transmission mount was shot and hence caused the driveshaft to rub against the gas tank shield.

: : So could overtightening the inlet and exhaust pipe could have been the culprit?
