I replaced the upper control arm bushing, and the upper ball joints. Spring perches where in good condition. No more squeak!!!!

The spring perch is what the coil spring sits on (at the bottom). There is a rubber bushing in there that wears out. If you're gonna have the spring out, change the top bushing while your at it, and use the 90 angle jerts from Autokrafters.

All else fails....go after anything that moves!!!!

: This *should* be easy! (?)

: When I press down on the left front fender on my '76 Maverick I get a groan or low-pitched squeak that is driving me batty! I've ordered and installed the upper A-frame bushing lubrication kit from AutoKrafters but that didn't seem to cure the problem. All I can think is to lubricate the upper and lower ball joints and the lower A-frame bushings. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you go about fixing it? Thanks!
