I won't use Slick50 or other additives that contain Teflon because it is a solid. The gov't recently made Slick50 stop advertising their previous claims of less wear and better performance.
I started using Mobil 1 last year and have noticed better mileage and the engine seems to run better.
The best thing is just to change your oil regularly and use a good brand. If you do that and don't overheat it your engine will last a long, long time anyway. -CP
