I have been thinking about the same swap. The brazilian Mavericks had 2.3L motors but obviously its going to be rather difficult to find them. I have not looked at the engine dimensions yet but the shock tower could be a problem. I dont think that it is to much trouble though, there are a couple of people I know of puting the motor in early falcons, virtually the same configuration engine comparments as mustangs and mavericks. Let me know what you dig up, im leaning toward a little pinto for the 2.3L Turbo though, almost 500# lighter than the mav!
