What you will need is the V8 frame to motor mount brackets, I got those from a 74 Maverick.I was trying to take'em off a 76 with the engine still in the car(STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLAN) find a car at a junk yard without an engine. As for the radiator, sorry haven't got that far yet, but hopefully this weekend I will find one and will post my results.I used a C4 that I had rebuilt(many say that there is an internal difference between small sixes(170-200) and V8s , I have had both and no difference just make sure it is in good condition), the only difference is you will need a V8 bellhousing and torque converter (the torque converter number if you buy one rebuilt from a shop is- F18), by the way if you have a 250 I-6 it has the same bellhousing and torque converter as the 302.I needed V8 springs but didn't have the money to buy some , so I used 68 Mustang(with 302) front springs. This is where I started having problems, my Maverick front end was sticking up in the air more, ok I thought needs the V8 , still to high even with V8.Here is the reason my Maverick is lighter and has no A/C , mustang was heavier and had A/C.So what ever you do stay away from swaps like this, try to find a Maverick with V8 springs.Rear springs will be done this weekend so I will keep you posted on how it goes and what I did.66 Mustang rear should fit perfectly because it is the same width, I am also using a Mustang rear.Other things you need from a junk yard are: if you plan on sticking with the coloum shift like I am you need a V8 shift linkage in the firewall area , along with Maverick V8 motor mounts( 71-77 are the same) and the V8 trans. cross member , I had to chop mine a little so it would fit because the 70 is a little narrower but it should fit your 71 fine, all my parts so far came off of a 74.Hope this helps
