Make sure the socket is clean & the little plate that the contacts are mounted on is still free to move up & down in the socket. Should be spring loaded . After that the most common problem I've found is grounds. Make sure all clean. Remove all the screws & clean connectors & frame. If the screw just spins when you try to tighten it, put a nut behind it
