The maverick power steering is the "cheap" and junky kind--it works, though....what i always wanted to do was get a steering box out of a different Ford (i had a box from a Torino that looked VERY similar) and do some custom work getting that in there. (If you didn't know...) the other ford power steering uses a special steering box and normal linkage.
