Hey Aaron,
I just completed changing my '75 from power to manual. The absolute easiest way is to un-thread the power actuator valve from the power center link, then thread-on a tie rod end & sleeve of the appropriate dimensions. Make sure it's clamped down good & tight. That's about it.
