As I have good experience wiht rust I think I can tell you with some certainty that where there is "rust there is more rust".
Those rear quarters have to be replaced, not exactly cheap. And if she's been flipped there also could be frame misalignment making it nearly impossible to get a good steering alignment, not to mention possible stress cracks in the metal. And getting a frame alignment is not cheap. You better off getting the 200 rebuilt or putting in a 302 or 351w. If you have any questions on the 351w I'm putting one in my 73' Mav.
The rule with unibody fords is, if you can get one with a good, straight , rust free body. Your golden. You'll end up spending more money on that body than putting a kick ass motor in your car.
I live in Rhode Island so I know what rust does to cars. Besides I get the impression that you thought something was kinda funny with this deal anyway.
Oh yeah and if it was a concours correct Grabber in perfect condition it might be worth some money but not in the condition you described. I bet if the guy got your car he'd probaly swap in a 302 and say to himself "haha to you!"
