John,

What type (source) of spoiler are you installing? I'd like to do the same to my '76 two-door. I would think getting a roll of meat-packing (grocers) paper, rolling it out on the underside of the spoiler and marking the hole locations would be a great way to make a template. Another technique would be to get some play-doh, mold it around the holes in the spoiler, coat with some food dye and then press it carefully into place on the trunk lid would precisely mark the hole locations. The food dye should wash right off. Good luck with your project!

: I need some advice on installing a rear spoiler. Locating the spots to drill the trunk lid is a no-brainer from left to right but the front to back locating of these same holes is a little more difficult due to the fact that the mounting screws don't allow a flush trial fit. Any advice in this or other aspects of this installation? Thanks. John B.
