Never said they were indestructable, but damn near. Weak link is the connecting rods which are only a $300 upgrade away from Crower

Honda's are a different story. They are FWD, so traction is a problem from the get go. Also, their engines are designed for economy, not power, so almost ALL parts were never designed to withstand any type of abuse. Thier blocks are worthless and of the "open deck" type which limits power right from the start. Honda's do require quite a bit of money to make fast. Luckily, Ford overengineered the living shit out of the 2.3L back in the `70's, so it holds up quite well to serious power.
