: Okay, so i'm a traitor, but i saw Summit is selling a stroker kit for the 350 (makes it a 383) for a little over $1k, summit says they dyno'ed it at 450 hp and 444lbs/ft---INCREDIBLE for the price. Has anyone ever tried or succeeded in putting a 350 Chevy in their mav? I'm sure that somewhere i can get mounts for a mustang/chevy swap, but it was just a consideration for now--i don't have a hell of a lot of money for high-perf parts, so 450hp would be incredible for $1k.
summit also sells a 347 kit to.the only machine work other than line bore and cylinder bores u have to take a die grinder after the short blocks together make reliefs in the cylinders for the rod bolts to clear because of the longer rods. and thats just replacing a 302 ina mav cause its a 302 based motor and the kit might be 100 bucks more , but you will have that much easliy haveing mounts made motor, tranny, drive shaft.
