I'm not sure what you meant by spring perch, but if it's what i think you mean.... i used rubber hose over the ends of my coil springs to stop the metal to metal sqeak... works for me.

: When I press down on the left front fender on my '76 Maverick I get a groan or low-pitched squeak that is driving me batty! I've ordered and installed the upper A-frame bushing lubrication kit from AutoKrafters but that didn't seem to cure the problem. All I can think is to lubricate the upper and lower ball joints and the lower A-frame bushings. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you go about fixing it? Thanks!
