They are right because the sound is comming from the spring rubbing on the upper part of the shock tower. there is supposed to be a bushing inbetween the spring and the perch, most have worn out. There is a place called mustangplus.com that has Poly urithane replacement ones. This will stop the sound. good luck.

: This *should* be easy! (?)

: When I press down on the left front fender on my '76 Maverick I get a groan or low-pitched squeak that is driving me batty! I've ordered and installed the upper A-frame bushing lubrication kit from AutoKrafters but that didn't seem to cure the problem. All I can think is to lubricate the upper and lower ball joints and the lower A-frame bushings. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you go about fixing it? Thanks!
