Not to rain on your parade, Sam (So to speak), but that is also the same weekend as the International Maverick/Comet Club Round-Up Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. One can come here and see 30 of the nations finest Mavericks and Comets...if not more. So make the trip to Columbus, Ohio. Hey it's Labor Day weekend, so you probably have time off!!

: It seems like all these Maverick mini-meets have generated a lot of attention! I was wondering if anyone would like to get together for one in southern New Jersey. Every September, the city of Woodbury, NJ, holds what they call a "Totally Outrageous Car Show". This year's show will be on the 5th, with the rain date being the 12th. Attendance is generally around 100 - 125 cars of all makes and types, from showroom-restored to highly modified. The show is held along the main street in town, which provides for quite a lot spectator traffic. There are 3 trophies awarded- "Best of Show", Totally Outrageous", and "Mayor's Choice".
: Woodbury is easily accessible from route I-95 and I-295, which makes it easy for any southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware Maverick owners who might want to attend.
: Participants can pre-register by mail ($6.00) or register on the day of the show ($8.00). I can FAX registration forms and directions to anyone interested.
