I found the wiring diagram for the '76 to still be in print. I ordered a set from Helm publications, who publishes a lot of the factory service manuals for Ford. If you are interested, let me know, and I'll dig up the number. You'll have to ask them if they have the '71 still in print. You may get lucky--when ordered my diagram, they even asked if I wanted the owner's manual, since they still had that in print as well.
