Jim,
I had the same problem when I was 17 and owned a 70 mav w/ a i6 200.
being the ingenious uneducated fool that I was, I made one out of a hockey puck. Don't laugh it lasted 4 years.
Now however I can possibly make on out of UHMW(ultra high molecular weight) for not-a-lot-a-moolah
If you will send me a detailed description that I can make a blueprint out of I can make you a bushing.
I will need the ID of the Z bar and the OD od the motor mounting stud as well as the length of the bushing,
let me know if I can help.
If you have any type of CAD program email me a diagram

: Jim,
: That's a '65 "origin" (C5xx = 1965) part number and quite possibly available through a restoration parts company for Mustangs/ Falcons/ Fairlanes of the '60's...sorry I don't have access to a parts book that old or I'd look it up for you!!! I've had good success with AuotKrafters and there's a TON of Mustang support out there. Check the advertising section in your favorite car mag.

: : Does anyone know where to find part # C5AZ7543C? It's the nylon bushing that surrounds the clutch equalizer ball on the side of the engine. It is a two piece unit that is approx. 1" in diameter and 15/16" in length. It's no longer available from Ford and not carried by the specialty shops.
