Okay. on a budget, start with a 600cfm 4-barrel carburetor with an Edelbrock Performer or Performer-RPM intake manifold, add a full dual exhaust system and advance ignition timing to about 14 degrees BTDC (back it off if it "pings"). That might do it but if not, install a 3.55:1 rearend gear ratio. That'll definately do it...
