Oh to be THAT young again!!! I already had three tickets before you were born...boy do I feel really old right now ;-) Seriously, just remember to ALWAYS anticipate that the other "drivers" out there are going to be the worst possible "drivers", and WILL do THE MOST STUPID thing when you least expect it!! Keep your eyes open and you should be able to avoid almost any 'collision' before you're part of it.
As for any suggestions to get "around" those inevitable "documentations" of your Maverick's ability "git" here's my 2 cents...NEVER, EVER ADMIT that you were speeding...if the officer asks if you know why you were stopped, POLITELY tell him "No sir,I don't" and COOPERATE with him. If you wind up in traffic court those are the first things brought up by the officer: "defendant admitted to violation when stopped" and "defendant was uncooperative and combative". I've watched many 'judgements' go in 'favor' of the "Violator" when the officer didn't have "bad" things to say about the "Offender". It may not get you out of that ticket, but it sure can help keep the "penalty" to a minimum.
