: Okay here is my question. What is the degree of difficulty of going from a column to a floor shifter? And secondly, does anybody have any idea how much it is to get Grabber striping? Having problems tracking down the "CONNECTION".

: Thanks

I think most people will agree that floor shifters are the cool way to go. I put a B&M Quicksilver in my '70. It was easy for me but I wasn't in a hurry and took my time. The kits usually come with everything you need and sometimes you even get easy to follow instructions. On the outside chance you plan on racing your Mav., you should go with rod shifters and not cable ones (this advice comes from a National drag winner....not myself). There are tons of kits out there, big price range, and lots of quality differences. I think most believe it is a good upgrade, worth the time. good luck....
