: I recently heard that the 300 I-6 is used to run all the elevators in New York City's skyscrapers (I'm still keeping my 302 though)...
Alright, you wise a--! Since you are so slick, bring that 302 car out to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, September 5'th, and race that car!! If it is so incredibly fast, show it off at the mini-meet.

: : anyone can build a V8. HiPro 6's are kinda like the Maverick, not that popular but kinda cool.

: : : If you were REALLY serious about racing, you wouldn't be messing around with a lame-ass six-cylinder. There are a lot of wannabees out there.

: : : : Greetings fellow Maverick fans! As all of you know, the Mopar Slant Six engine was probably the most durable engine ever made. In addition, the Slant Six has the potential to run with any V8 on a drag strip with the right modifications. For more info. about this topic, check out the Internet Slant Six Club. Anyhow, what I am leading up to is that the Ford 250 engine, having a bore which is larger than the stroke, should also have incredible performance potential. Are there any Maverick/Comet owners out there who are interested in beefing up a 250 engine, or know anything about doing so? If so, I would like to hear from you. I do not want to waste valuable time debating the merits of a V8 vs. an I6, just talk to other people interested in the racing potential of the 250 engine.
