First of all, a '77 351 windsor has the SAME small valves (1.73/1.45) as a 302 so even though the longer stroke will yield a little more torque, the engine will be anemic. If you're going to go through the hassle of installing the 351, I strongly reccomend some cylinder head work...
: Yeehaa! I just got my hands on a 351w out of a 1977 Cougar. It came with the trasmission. I got her for only $450.00 and that's in CANADIAN DOLLARS! That's like a buck and a quater in the States! Any ideas on a cam and the proper manifold/carb combos? Let me know!!!!!!!!!!
