and I reiterate..........
sitting in my lap is a copy of the 1973 Ford Maverick shop manual. volume V, pre delivery lubrication and maintaince. and it says that the maverick rolled out with a a plethora of rear gear sizes including a locker. I have found the locker rear end under a 71 Grabber before so I know that It exists. The axel codes for the lockers are as follows:
2K.is a 2.75:1 lock
4M is a 2.80:1 lock
6O is a 3.00:1 lock
9R is a 3.25:1 lock
AS is a 3.50:1 lock(this is the kind that I found under a grabber)
V is a 3.91:1 lock
