I had to rebuild my C4 and I spent a total on $130 on the rebuild. I pulled the tranny myself, cleaned it , bought the parts and paid an old mechanic (who had the right equipment) $70 to put the new parts in.

: Okay, I have a C-4 Automatic Tranny in my 74 Comick that has, for the past two years flared (by "flared" I mean that it revs up between 2nd and 3rd like a slipping clutch would)into third at high r.p.m.s: is this a big expensive problem to get fixed or not?
