Well..."thank" them is NOT what I do on a daily basis...may a white snow owl (or whatever damn kick they're on this week) fly right up their nose!!! We (car buffs) are making gains (no required bi-annual smog tests for '73 and older vehicles) but it's all a smoke screen (pun intended!) for/by the big money corporations so they can keep on polluting and squeeze us "little guys". I too, enjoy the environment and do my part by keeping my vehicles well tuned (my Grabber actually runs cleaner than when it was built!!!) ...oh man I could rant and rave for hours on this matter!!!

: : It really depends on where you live Brandon. I'm in the 'Bay Area' and they commonly set up "Roadside Sniffers" along the freeway (usually at an on ramp...DUH! every car pollutes more when you step on it to merge!) and if it "smells" a "dirty" car it takes a photo and you get a nice "invitation" (GAG,COUGH) to have your "gross polluter" examined. It has caused a big political stink (pun intended!) between Us and Them*.
