Maybe the hood and spoiler got overlooked at the
assembly line. An uncle of mine worked for a
dealership years ago and he told me it was not
uncommon. They had to chase down a lot of options
or incomplete options the factory missed. There
was always the saying "Never buy a car built on
Monday or Friday"
