: If you were 16 in '82, you're about 2 yrs. older than I am. I got mine in October '81 but obviously didn't start driving it 'till '84....

: : O.K. I got my first Maverick back in 1982 when I turned 16. Me and my twin brother had to share a 1974 Brown, 6 cly, AT, AC car. We were so disappointed. Not that we had to share it....but that it was a MAVERICK!! Oh well, how things change over time.
