the rear leafs from a 91 dodge fullsized 3/4 pick up will bolt directly to the mav. it will move the drive shaft back 3/4 of an inch and make the rear sit as high as any one could want. granted looking"cool" destryes your handling when you are ready to restore ride hight the leafs can be removed and the one or two remanig work much better than the original Ford ( saggy butt) spring.
take a measuing tape to the junk yard and have a little fun.
:
: They not only look GAY, but they put too much load on the leafspring eyelets and and reduce the arch which reduces maximum suspension performance (no offense). The guy obviously wants a "High Boy"; maybe he should convert it to 4-wheel drive and paint a confederate flag on it while he's at it!...

: : I just use shackles. 4 bolts. easy. cheap $15

:
: : : My fiance has a 1972 maverick grabber. I'm in the process of
: : : putting a 302 in it and while i'm working she asks me if I
: : : can jack the back end up too. So I'm wondering what is the
: : : easiest way to get the leaf springs to the top of the axles.
: : : If anybody can help me with some info it sure would make me
: : : happy!!! Thanks.
