: Go to your favorite wrecking yard with your trusty tape measure and fing some truck springs that are 52" long and 2 1/2" wide. take them home and remove all but 3 ( or 2 depending on how soft you want the ride) of the leafs. bolt up and enjoy.You may need some metal bushings for spacers, and you will need new shackles.
: My Mary has the leafs from a 91 Dodge 3/4 tom pick up lightened down to triple leafs. she sets level and rides great( of course the sub-connectors help the ride) let me know if you try it.

*whew*... that's probably what I'll do in the long run... Oh, the tranny leak turned ot to be
a simple case of the pan bolts being loose... query guys... can this happen by itself of did I find a labor inceasing mechanic...?
