AutoKrafters has many of the parts you need and they will send you a catalog for $5.00. They are on the Web. Also; the Maverick Connection is a good source for restoring your car. Contact them at: MavCON@citynet.net. The horn should be pretty easy to fix. You can simply swap the "pad" on the steering wheel which is attatched with two screws on the back and two horn wires. I would just swap the whole steering wheel with an aftermarket one (Grant) but it needs to be at least 14.5 to 15 inches in diameter or else you cant see your speedometer.

: Hello Everyone. Just found this great site!
: I have a 1971 maverick grabber. Had this car since 1980. I have a few questions that maybe anyone can help me with. First of all, where can I purchase a catalog to buy parts, body stripes, etc.
: Second question- My horn does not work. Mechanic told me that it is in the steering wheel. What kind of part do I need? And it is hard to correct.

: Will be getting into working the body. Paint is old and is starting to fade. Its green with black stripes.
: I love this car. This is just my toy around car. Not too many have these anymore. Here in Delaware you just do not see any around. Any info on parts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

: If possible, please e/mail me at BLUROKS@aol.com
