He's right,but only if you tailor the rest of the handling combination to make it work.
Here's what I did: Lowered upper control arms(lowers front end a bit& gives much better camber curve),
Got a new set of front springs from a big block mustang(dont remember year, but can look up if need be),
cut coils as needed. Bigger front anti-roll bar(Addco),1/8"toe in, -2deg camber, +2deg caster, Koni drag
shocks(for Mustang), set full firm. Standard arch 4 leaf rear springs(JC Whitney!), 1" lowering blocks, Gabriel Strider
adj. shocks, Addco anti-roll bar, Traction Masters(for Mustang), quick ratio power steering box(read about that lower
on this board, 14"dia steering wheel.
Man, what a ride! Scared me into 4-wheel disk brakes! But be careful in rain! Of course, all bushings were replaced also.
