I've used that exact convertor behind a 10.3:1(real c.r., not what is written on the piston box)
306, with a 242 degree solid cam, and TWO 600 holleys, and the convertor would flash right at 3000
(4000 woulda been better).STILL went 12.20w/1.9 60ft. If you insist, Art Carr makes my convertors
now, and I swear by 'em. Expect to pay about $700+,though. WOW! I bet that makes that TCI look a
little better!
With race convertors, as with most hard core parts, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and custom work
costs jack.
