I don't know how much a fiberglass Grabber hood weighs but believe it or not, the original steel Grabber hood is lighter than the standard "flat" hood and it looks cool to boot. 1972 was the last year of the Grabber hood for the American models. I want to somehow make custom fiberglass "scoop" inserts (functional) for my steel Grabber hood...
: I was fortunate enough to find a grabber hood in a junkyard that someone had cut the honeycomb part out of the scoops. I used some flexible duct to fashion two tubes that lead from the scoop right to the Motorsport aircleaner. Works great, and was pretty easy. Of course, I would never have cut those scoops myself...
