Have same problem.Must take out column, there is a square piece that breaks off, and needs re-welding.Make sure you grease the shift levers well...temparary fix, but helps if you dont pull column.When shifting to 2nd, try to push shifter "HARDER" away, so that you dont grind into reverse.
